Cleaning Up Vacant Properties

This was one of many extremely pestering situations in the city and residents have been calling to get it cleaned up for at least a year. This property is located at 813 S. Broad St. It looked much worse than this today. After several calls into the city made by myself and others, Housing Director Andre Daniels became alerted today after I made additional attempts for help, and he contacted me right away on his way to the property, he assessed the situation and called on the proper city department, Public Works, who drew a team and came out to clean it up right away!

This should not be so difficult, but it is understandable that the city is a local and non-local trash can.
If the council can work together with the administration to answer resident concerns, this city can see brighter days!
