NORTH WARD COUNCILWOMAN AND FORMER LABOR LEADER, MARGE CALDWELL-WILSON ENDORSES JENNA FIGUEROA KETTENBURG FOR SOUTH WARD CITY COUNCIL
TRENTON – Today, Trenton North Ward Councilwoman, Marge Caldwell-Wilson endorsed Jenna Figueroa Kettenburg for Trenton South Ward City Council.
As Figueroa Kettenburg was wrapping up her remarks before a large crowd of supporters, Caldwell-Wilson joined Jenna at the podium and declared her endorsement.
“Jenna is a pro-union candidate and a union endorsed candidate. I am happy to say tonight that I fully ENDORSE Jenna Figueroa Kettenburg for Trenton City Council. My official endorsement comes after noticing over the past few months that Jenna continued to receive the endorsements of labor unions, one after another,” said North Ward Councilwoman Marge Caldwell-Wilson.
Earlier this year, Jenna received the endorsement of her local, CWA Local-1038. That endorsement was followed by the Mercer County Central Labor Council’s endorsement. At the New Jersey AFL-CIO’s annual conference in Atlantic City, President Charlie Wowkanech announced the 2022 official list of endorsed candidates and Jenna was one of a few union members in Trenton to receive their support. Following that endorsement, Jenna received the endorsement of CWA-Political Action.
Figueroa Kettenburg said, “I moved up the chain of endorsements by answering questionnaires and standing before labor leaders making my case for working families. Residents understand that I will fight for the right to free speech, the right to protest peacefully, and the right to collective bargaining.”
The election is Tuesday, November 8, 2022. Polls open at 6am and close at 8pm.
